The Mountain Edition is a special edition of the barebone "Sport Base" model made in 2010 with 32" tires, black tubular sidestep, black tail light protectors and special edition seats, as well as visual enhancements like black grid and hood decals, a black fuel filter door and graphite dash enhancements. This edition was also available in 4 doors, based on the more equipped "Sport" trim instead of the "Sport Base" trim
Finally, the $1,820 Wrangler Mountain package is based on the S model and comes with a unique "Mountain" decal on the hood with latitude and longitude coordinates (different from the Islander's coordinates, naturally) along with painted high-gloss Mineral Gray 17-inch Moab wheels, grille and bumper appliqués. Other bits include tubular side steps, black tail lamp guards and a fuel-filler door from Mopar. Interior improvements are made up of an embossed seat insert with embroidered "Mountain logo" plus anodized graphite heating, ventilation and air conditioning rings.
Available exterior colors include Rescue Green Metallic Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Deep Water Blue Pearl Coat
The Wrangler JK Mountain Edition is a Special Edition of the bare bone "Sport Base" model made in 2010.
Exterior features include:
- 17-inch Moab wheels with 32-inch tires,
- Black tubular sidestep,
- Nice Mountain hood decal on the hood with latitude and longitude coordinates S27 X W68 (Argentinian Andes at 16000 ft, It's where the world 4x4 Mountain climbing record was set by a Jeep Wrangler. )
Interior features include:
- "Tiki Bob" edition seats,
- Rubber slush mats
- Visual enhancements such as a blue accented leather steering wheel.
The new 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander is only available in Surf Blue, Bright White and Black.
